A message from our Race Founder and Race Director:
Today, our community is faced with the challenges posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19). While we wished to hold an event that would celebrate our diverse community, the local organizations that take care of our people and our 30th anniversary, we also feel a responsibility to the health and well-being of our event participants, volunteers, staff and spectators. Our committee has made the tough decision to postpone the
30th Annual Celebrate Westlake Charity Run.
Celebrate Westlake is extremely special to us. Our volunteers put their heart and souls into organizing it and we love what we do. We take great care in every aspect of planning it and we are very aware that you have a lot of choices when it comes to races. We are grateful that you choose to run with us. You are the reason we have continued running for 30 years. You are the glue that makes our community strong. Your safety is our number one priority and we are in this together.
Thank you for being a part of our running community.
A special thanks to our sponsors for their understanding of the race change and for their continued support helping us raise 1.7 million for local charities over the past 30 years.
We wish you and your family a healthy and safe running summer.
